Description
The greatest feeling of gratitude for immigrants is to express themselves in their native accents. My first vacation to the United States was a turning point in my life because it made me feel like a home away from home. I listened to the countless compliments on my voice and the love and appreciation for my rapport. To experience such love and affection means there is no barrier among races, and Americans are willing to extend the olive branch to everyone. It reinforces the synergy that this country is a collection of immigrants who have come together for a common goal. A purpose that enables people to listen, understand and learn each other’s accents. This was not the first time I had traveled to a foreign country. But, the manifestation of the American people culminating with over 350 languages compels me to commit that it will not be my last vacation.
